Course description
Overview:
Students will learn advanced skills for working in Word for Windows 7.0. The course uses the basic knowledge students should possess on styles, templates, and macros and provides the students with a more in-depth knowledge on these features. Students create forms, and use graphic elements in their documents. Students create special documents that require the use of a master document, table of contents, and table of figures. Student use section breaks to control the layout of a document, and they insert annotations and revisions in a document.Prerequisites:
Students enrolling in this course should understand the basics of Windows 95. They should already have experience working with Word for Windows. Specifically, students should know how to create styles, templates, and macros.Benefits:
Students will learn how to customize their Word for Windows workplace and to work more efficiently. Some topics will enable students to create documents for special purposes: reports, catalogs, and invitations. Students will learn skills to enhance and polish the appearance of these documents.
