Overview:
Students will learn the skills and concepts necessary to work with advanced capabilities of Excel 5.0.Prerequisites:
. Students in this course should understand the basic concepts involved in working with a personal computer (PC). Students should have a basic knowledge of the concepts involved in using Excel 5.0 for Windows worksheets. For example, they should be familiar with data types (labels and values), copying data, basic formulas and functions, and opening and saving files.Benefits:
Students will learn to customize their work areas and create advanced formulas. They will also explore worksheet troubleshooting techniques and multiple file linking options. Both worksheet outlining and worksheet consolidation will be reviewed. Students will explore the protect and display options available with the program as well as create pivot tables, worksheet analysis tools, importing/exporting data, and compatibility with other applications.Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
