Course description

Overview: Students will learn the basic skills necessary to effectively begin creating and working with databases in Access. 7.0.

Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable working in a Windows environment..

Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Understand database concepts and terminology.
Open the different database objects.
Design and create data tables.
Modify existing data tables and edit records.
Select specific records and fields from tables by using Access queries.
Create calculated fields and view data from multiple tables.
Generate data forms for viewing and inputting data.
